Khurshid joined the firm in 2022 as a Consultant in the Commercial Litigation Department and is working with a team specialising in property and land disputes as well as residential conveyancing. As a specialist in Immigration law she is Head of our Immigration team, which provides Immigration advice to Individuals and Businesses.
Having started her legal career in a traditional high street law firm in the North West of England, specialising in Criminal and Family Law, she has worked in different fields including Civil Litigation, Employment, Probate, Conveyancing and representation at Welfare and Disability Tribunals. She moved to Cardiff, where her experience of Legal Service Commission Franchising led her to join a ‘not for profit’ organisation in a supervisory role and as an Advocate providing representation in Immigration and Human Rights Tribunals.
Since her move to Norfolk with a young family in 2005, she has continued consultancy work as well as stints at the Citizens Advice Bureau, working as an Employment Specialist. She was pleased to return to a similar firm in nature, where her career first began.
When not working, travelling or reading, Khurshid spends much of her time gardening or relaxing in it with her family and friends in front of a roaring fire pit.
Khurshid speaks Urdu, Gujrati and Hindi.
