Covering all of your legal needs with branches in Norwich, Sheringham and North Walsham
NHS Continuing Healthcare (NHS CHC) is a package of care fully funded by the NHS for individuals with a “primary health need.” If someone qualifies for NHS CHC, the NHS covers the full cost of their care, regardless of their financial circumstances, as it is not means-tested. This care can be provided in a nursing or care home or in the individual’s own home.
Navigating the claims process for NHS CHC can be challenging. Our expert team offers professional guidance to help you secure the funding you or your loved one may be entitled to, ensuring all care needs are fully met.

To be eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare, the process begins with a checklist assessment to determine whether a full assessment is necessary. If required, a multidisciplinary team from the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) will complete a detailed evaluation using a Decision Support Tool (DST). This tool assesses eleven factors, including behaviour, mobility, nutrition, and breathing, rating them from “priority” or “severe” to “no needs.” Based on this assessment, the team makes a recommendation to the ICB about eligibility for CHC funding.
