Following a competitive tendering process, we have been appointed to act as Solicitors for The Benjamin Foundation. The charity, which operates in Norfolk and Suffolk, will now be using Clapham & Collinge for all their legal services. Both The Benjamin Foundation and Clapham & Collinge see this as a long-term relationship, working in partnership to assist the charity in achieving its aims and objectives. Founded in 1994, The Benjamin Foundation provides a range of services and support to people of all ages with issues such as homelessness and building stronger family relationships and childcare.
Tony Ing, Chief Executive of The Benjamin Foundation, said: "We have had a good work relationship with Clapham and Collinge for several years and they've been kind enough to support our events and raise money for us in the past. We're looking forward to building on this in the coming years."
With a multi-discipline charities department, Clapham & Collinge act for a wide variety of charities, charitable trusts and associations. Neale Grearson, Partner and Head of the Charities Department at Clapham & Collinge, said: "We are honoured by the trust that the Foundation has shown in us by appointing us as their Solicitors. We have a large Charities Department and already work for a number of local charities. With all our charity clients we deliver more than just legal services in that we look to work with and collaborate with the charities so that it is a true partnership.
The involvement of Clapham & Collinge and all of our staff in the local community in which we work is vital to us. We aim not to just be regarded as Solicitors by our clients but also trusted advisers and partners so we work with our charity clients and not just for them. With The Benjamin Foundation we have already worked with them on such things as their Norwich 'Sleep Out' event hosted by us in 2015 at our offices in Norwich and we will continue to work hard for the Foundation as it is a fantastic charity delivering essential services to children, young people and families in Norfolk and Suffolk.''
