Break Charity announced this week their Silver Lining Award Finalists for 2016. The 'Silver Lining Long Term Support Award' is recognition for a group, individual or organisation that has supported Break for a period of more than five years; making a significant input into the charity in general and the fundraising team specifically to enable growth and sustainability, helping the charity to #changeyounglives.
Louis Hilldrup-Boorman, Marketing Manager said 'We have supported Break Charity for many years with our annual 'Lunch on the Green' event, sponsorship of a GoGoGorilla and GoGoDragon Sculpture. We are delighted that our efforts have been recognised and very proud to be selected as finalists for this award'
This year is the first of these awards, sponsored by Aspiration Europe and Smith & Pinching, in conjunction with Ruth Elizabeth Events.
The judges will use the following criteria to judge this category:
- The level of resources (people, investment, promotion and skills) the organisation devoted to the charitable activities
- The outcomes and benefits (financial, gifts in kind, new ideas and investment) the relationship has brought to the charity and to the company itself
- The range of support given and its impact.
Other award categories include, Fundraising 'Team of the Year', Award for Innovation, and Corporate Partner of the Year.
Neale Grearson, Head of the Charities team at Clapham & Collinge said 'We are delighted and honoured to be nominated for this prestigious award. At Clapham & Collinge we value highly our involvement in the local community and our work with charities such as Break. It is great to receive an acknowledgement and appreciation of the work we do.'
