Lease Variations
Some leases which were drafted a number of years ago can now be regarded as being defective because they don’t contain provisions that lenders now require.
We also see situations where a number of flats were intended to share a communal garden which has now been shared between the flats or where other re-arrangements either of the communal areas or an individual flat itself have taken place.
In these cases it may be necessary to have a variation of the lease in question or all of the leases in the block. We can assist you with this and will advise you on what you should do but you must bear in mind that in some cases you will end up having to pay your Landlord's legal costs and/or your fellow Lessees costs.
