On Thursday 15th November, four members of the Clapham & Collinge team will be braving the elements at the Norwich Sleep Out in support of The Benjamin Foundation. Olivia Heading, Lauren Wonfor, Jessica Bailey and Stacey Mack will be sleeping in the car park of Norwich City Football Club to raise money and awareness of youth homelessness in Norfolk. Clapham & Collinge have supported the Benjamin Foundation’s annual ‘Sleep Out’ event since its first large scale event in 2014.

Chris Elliott, Marketing and Fundraising Manager from The Benjamin Foundation said “We are delighted that once again a team from Clapham & Collinge will be taking part in our Norwich Sleep Out as they have done in each of the four years”.

Olivia Heading, Trainee Solicitor said “We are very nervous about our night sleeping at Carrow Road car park but believe that it will be an eye opening experience and we are proud to raise awareness for such an important issue in Norwich”.

The Benjamin Foundation was founded in 1994 and provides a range of services including support with housing, homelessness, childcare, training, bullying and abuse. It is a charity that focuses on making a difference to local lives and providing hope, opportunity, stability and independence to people in our community.

Over the last few weeks, Olivia, Lauren, Jessica and Stacey have been raising funds and securing sponsorhip from friends, family and colleagues. Thanks to online donations and a successful bake sale at our Norwich office, they’ve exceeded their sponsorship target of £400, but they’re still keen to continue fundraising to support this worthy cause. If you’d like to sponsor our team, please visit their fundraising page. Any donations (however big or small) are hugely appreciated!

The Sleep Out will take place on Thursday 15th November from 7pm to 7am the following day. For more information on the event and to sign up visit https://benjaminfoundation.co.uk/sleep-out-2018. Those taking part need to pay a registration fee of £25.00 and then raise a minimum of £100.00 in sponsorship.
